Ford 7.3 turbo diesel-battery isolator install?

I'm trying to install a battery isolator on my turbo diesel. Wow, it's crowded in there. Can someone tell me where they found a place to put it, or how they made a place?
And then I would like to install a 750 watt power inverter. I should put this in the cab, but again I'm lost on where to install it.
Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

as I have no Isolator between the Boxes can't help you there, as far as an inverter I mounted a 700 watt (little coleman guy) under the center of the seat, outa the way when I'm not using it yet convient enough when I need it.

I can't speak of all manufacturers, but Ford has an isolater in the Superduty trucks on the trailer charge line. I think Dodge puts one in theirs as well.

In my Ford I installed an inverter in the dash, behind the panel that would cover a passenger airbag (if one was installed).

i mounted mine under the dash just to the right of the e brake pedal, there is a bracket for the ecm i piggy backed on it and ran an ice cord with outlet up to my hook thigy panel under the cup holder i used a 120 volt outlet from a ford escape so it looks like it should be there all the time

Very nice! I think I can do that, with a little more advice from you.

What size cables did you use? Just how do you connect that to the battery posts?

I need to increase the hot wire going to my trailer. I need to run the refrigerator on 12v, and I have been told that the factory wire isn't large enough to keep up with the refrig electrical drain, that it will run down my trailer battery. I have been told that I must have at lkeast a 10 gauge wire. Can anyone advise just where I can tap into that factory isolator?

Nope, no battery isolator in the Dodges. Gotta remember to unplug when stopping overnight!
