I did a quick and dirty search for this subject and did not notice one. So, if I missed this topic, please point me in the right thread.

On September 14, we picked up our new F350 with the integrated brake controller. Our trailer is a Travel Supreme Classic 36 Ft with Electric over hydraulic brakes. The dexter actuator has a serial number of 000443. Dexter has indicated that the actuators with serial number of 002002 or greater work with no problems. When I plugged our trailer into the truck, the Brake Controller indicated a fault and the mini info window said "Check Trailer". I have since installed an aftermarket Brake Controller from Dexter (Predator DX2).

My question is - If I update my Brake Actuator from Dextor to a serial number greater than 2002, will my Integrated Brake Controller from Ford now work?

Thanks for any help.

Al & Sue

I am not familiar with the integrated brake controllers, but if you don't find your answer here, go over to http://www.thedieselstop.com and check there. I am sure between this group and over there, you will get an answer.
