I think every year the quality goes down. I owned a Holiday Rambler 1990 MH that looked new after 18 years. Everything in it was first class and you couldn't find one in a salvage yard for parts because most were still on the road.

I then bought a 2000 Forest River 40' Spinnaker 5th wheel. I wasn't as impressed with the quality as the HR but it had real wood cabinets and was put together pretty well. They skimped on a lot of little things that the 1990 HR didn't.

I then wanted a toy hauler so I searched for months and found nothing but junk. NASCAR designs with cheap materials and workmanship. One new KZ we looked at in Tampa had the drawers falling out and the ceiling coming down! Another new one at the Tampa show was "closed for repairs"...

After looking for over 6 months we finally found our 2005 Sunnybrook with real wood cabinets and a 16" frame. It's about the same quality as the 2000 FR. and so far has been good. Let's face it, they don't make them like they used to...

Bill & Linda. If it doesn't move and should, WD-40 it. If it moves and shouldn't, duct tape it. F-350 dually, 40' Sunnybrook Titan toy hauler and custom Harley
