Fresh water system

So my 5er has a 1/2 inch pvc system, it's getting a bit old. Even my local trailer store doesn't even carry pvc anymore. So I was given 50 ft of nylon reinforced vinyl tubing but it's only 3/8 inch. Will it be ok to go from 1/2 to 3/8 throughout the trailer?

Kurby...I think it would be okay, but you would further be reducing your water flow in an already low pressure system. Maybe the true experienced experts will chime in here and better help you make that decision. Seems to me that 1/2 PVC would be pretty common, however, I'm not a plumber, do you have access to a Lowes, Home Depot or some sort of hardware store?

PEX is used in lots of RVs it's tough and very easy to work with.

I was at home depot this weekend to buy 1/2" pvc supplies for my sprinkler system. They had all the pipe and fittings you could ever want

Ok so I went back to Home Depot and picked up a 100 ft roll of PEX pipe for $28... The trailer store in my area is charging $1.09 per foot. Thank you for all your guys help! So thankful!
