fresh water tank "gauge"

new guy with a small 87 coachman Coventry 5th wheel.
there are no gauges on this rig. is there a way to tell how much water is in the tank? the combined grey and black water seems to be close to the same volume so I guess when they are full the fresh is empty? better way to tell? thanks Dan

Hard to tell. My fresh is 53 gallons, black is 25 and the gray is 38 or 40. So if one added that up I would be over flowing. Yes some are equal, but others I have seen the gray to be larger than the fresh.

I would rather have a oversized gray.
