Front living rooms on fifth wheels.

I don't like the 2 couches in our front living room. I'm wanting to take them out, and replace them with 2 recliners. I was wondering if anyone has done a remodel, and what the results were. Thanks!

I did similar albeit not a front living room. The couch was screwed to the floor. I Removed the four screws and out it went. Then went to Lazy-Boy and bought a new recliner and then a small college room style refrigerator/freezer at Target. Neither are bolted to the floor, nor do they move any when driving.

Seems like a lot of room just to have 2 recliners in. Since I'm a layer, I like to have one couch to go 100% horizontal on.

If you want to remodel, have at it. Hopefully your door will be wide enough to get the furniture through. On my old travel trailer, a RV hide a bed is required, as a regular hide a bed will not come apart--and go through the door.

Many of the 5r FL rooms have two couches and the frame is such it fits in a L shaped floor or platform.

As popular as they have become again, I do not like them. Not enough head room and when sitting in there over time it feels closed in with that low ceiling. Most of your time in a 5r, (when you are awake) is spent in the main living room and I want that room to have a large feel to it. Something the FL just does not have in every model I have ever stepped in. And we checked out ever one at the Tampa RV show.
