Full Timers - Wannabes

I would like ask for some opinions here. We are soon-to-be full timers and looking for a unit suitable for full-timing. Being on a rather tight budget we are looking at some older used units such as a 2011 Heartland Big Horn 3585RL. We are impressed with the floor d even for the age seems to be in very good condition. I would like your take on this from other owners, is this a good idea, bad idea, pros, cons? What issues should I be looking for in this unit specific to this unit?
I am looking forward to hearing options from everyone.

Most used units need close scrutiny as to roof condition--any unknown leaks over time will really damage wall structure. The rest would be your gut feeling as to if it fits your needs.
Heartland probably no better, no worse than others in its price range--secret is how it was maintained by previous owner.
Be sure you have enough truck to handle it.
Check on RVtrader.com and PPLmotorhomes.com for comparables and prices.

There is a 2014 model for sale in Colorado that is the same floor plan as the Heartland and fully loaded with gen w/d d/w etc. You will need a dually to pull it. selling for a great price
