Furnace does not shut off

I have a 2018 Rockwood 8297S 5th wheel.
My furnace would not shut off it kept heating till I shut breaker off this has happened twice in the last two weeks. After I shut breaker off it works good.
I contacted Rockwood and they said they have never heard of this before since it is intermittent. The dealer said I would have to bring it to them and they would have to keep it until they can get it to do it again so they can check it. The problem with that is I am a full timer. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what I could check.

Have you let it run for over 15 minutes or so? They burn propane and the blower won't stop until the heat exchanger has cooled down. This can take a while.

Just a suggestion. Set the thermostat to desired heat level and let it start to heat. Once it reaches temp and does not shut off just turn the thermostat to off and see if it cycles down after it cools off. If it does not I would assume thermostat has failed.

Thermostat is set at 67 degrees and it was 84 degrees in RV and it would not shut off the only way I could get it to shut off was to turn main breaker off to RV even turning thermostat off would not shut it off I have had this RV for six months and it has only done this twice the rest of the time it shuts off at the correct temperature

I had a furnace that never shutoff on my 2011 Sunnybrook Bristol Bay. But this was not really an issue since I would have it in Florida during the winter and would heat with electric. But in my tests it never seem to shut off on it's own either.

I never let it run very long and never really trusted it.

I thought about changing the thermostat but sold the 5th wheel. I was thinking a new thermostat would be my next step if it did not sell.

Maybe take the thermostat apart and see if anything is obvious. Like a disconnected wire or a bug sandwiched between two contacts.
