If I were you, I'd check slideout adjustment and seal condition. On our Mobile Suites, the flush floor slides have a rubber flap on the bottom seal that seals against the slideout floor when the slideout drops into its fully extended, flush floor configuration. We don't have an air transfer problem and can heat our MS just fine with 2 ceramic heaters. We only use the furnace if temps are going to drop well into the 20s just to keep the basement above freezing.
