Galley Water

I have found my fresh water tank and release valves. But on a readout module on my Alfa Goldit shows Black, Grey, Fresh, Battery, and galley and it shows my galley as being full. I have three electric switches where my black water, grey water and an unknown valve can be found algtogether.. When I open my black valve sewage comes out, same with my grey water, but when I open the 3rd valve nothing comes out, yet in side on my panel it still shows galley full. What am I missing.
Thanks for any help you can give a beginner, I also need this info. asap as we are leaving for Florence Oregon bfrom Sacramento CA in 9 days.

Hopefully, an Alfa owner will have the answer. Not knowing anything about them, I would have to guess you have 3 holding tanks-- Black for toilet; Grey for shower; and the galley would be for the kitchen. Do you actually know the galley is full, or only showing full?
Here is what I would do--open grey water valve and run water thru the bath and lav and see if water comes out. If you get water coming out--ok. Wait til the water stops, leave the valve open and open the galley valve--run water slowly at the kitchen sink and see if anything comes out of the drain. If nothing, you have an inoperative valve for the galley and will have to fix it; if you get water out from the sink, then the gauge is wrong. If the valve is not working, and the galley is indeed full, you will get a backup in the sink...
Good luck.

You might want to read your owner's manual to find out what 'galley' means. Also, you might invest in some food coloring. Dump red down the sink drain and then when draining look for color to know what is connected to what tank.

You didn't list year or model so can't really look up if it has two gray tanks or not. Using food coloring in different drains would tell.

Sometimes the electric valves stick, my grey water doesn't like to open. I take a standard 6" screwdriver and there is a slot in the middle of the valve, turn it one way or the other, then try the electric switch. If this doesn't work, you can open it and close it with the screwdriver.
