I have just acquired a vintage fifth wheel. The realtor tells me it is a 1951 'Genera;' Trailer.
I can't find any information on it. It is beautiful inside with all the origanal wood panel, drop down table and Vesta stove still there.
anyone have any ideas. it is white over blue and has two doors with bed in rear of unit.
thanks

Try Tin Can Tourists (check thru Google) its only $20 year to join, and they have info on about all old campers and motorhomes. I dont know where you are from, but we try to go to their annual rally up in Milford Lake, MI in May. Post pics of your "new" unit if you can. Their members have restored units, that look like new. It's really interesting to see these units.

My folks had an old General 33' park model trailer on some property years ago. It's hard to believe that tiny thing is almost 4' longer than the 5er we have now. The 5er (w/slide) is just laid out so much better.

Anyhoo...their trailer was a sea foam green with rear bedroom. Bathroom so small you could sit on the toilet, soak your feet in the tub and wash your hair in the sink. Ah the memories...

Enjoy yours!
