Looked at this RV at a local show really liked the construction. It has residential floors and roof construction and 2 in walls. I have heard that the frame is a 10 in Double stacked frame like lifestyles and I have also heard it is a 10 in I beam constructed with a 10 inch drop front frame where all the weight really sets. I understand at the main frame only carries a small part. I do know that setting 2 big guys and a women in the slide you couldn't feel any sinking or rocking or any sponge feeling you get in some lower models. This rig seems to be built very well. Any thoughts?

I've looked this model over the last two years and it has some real thought out ideas. I believe its an I beam frame. The floor is pretty solid for a 5er at this price level. We think its a good rig for this price point.

No double stacked frame and sure not a box. The closest thing it has to a stacked frame is where the 2 beams meet at the basement drop. Their frame is like that of just about every other fiver out there on a Lippert frame. There is no comparison to a Llifestyle.
I have not heard anything about their quality but hey do look nice. The factory rep told me they are turning them out like hot cakes. phillip

Wasn't sure how they were built I like the lifestyle as well. I know the floors are solid heard they use marine grade plywood 1" in there construction and not OSB or laminated. Lifestyle has some real nice floors but the Solitudes seem to be built better than there price point . I heard they stepped up the construction quality at the price point. I just heard different stories on the frames. I had heard that since Redwood bought Carriages design stuff and that lippert owns LCI that lippert was making frames for them. There was word that lifestyle was going to have Lippert build their frames but decided to keep them in house for now. I figured that they were copying the frame somehow when I heard that. Is it a 10in or 12 in?

Redwood is built on an I-beam like most other fivers. Redwood only bought the rights to the former Carriage name and logo and that's it. The Lifestyle by Evergreen is a direct carry-over of the former Carriage line BUT with a lot of improvements. For 2014 they now have insulation in the top of the league. The box frame is still made in house. Lifestyle if of NO affiliation with THOR or Redwood.
Honestly, you can't beat a lot of the features of the Solitude....but I opted for a new Lifestyle for the quality you can't see. For $22k less than a Lifestyle, the Solitude is a nice rig. As far as I-beam fivers, its just a personal preference. Phillip

That is one sweet FL 5'er, but the low CCC would bother me. We have 1/2 the room inside and carry 1500lbs of stuff. That would only leave 500lbs and that's going off the brochure dry weights which we all know are off. Fill the fresh water tank and with 1500lbs your maxed out.

No I sent some info to the office but take a look and give me your opinion after giving it a good eye. I thought it was a nice rig that's what I liked . I know the construction is right up there with everyone. There floors and roof are marine grade plywood 1" and Residential constructed floors and roof. Just take a look it's always nice to have someone with another set of eyes. Jay

Cuttinchief, Lifestyle appears to have great quality but you may want to recheck the floors & roof specs. I believe you will find they offer 5/8 flooring & 1/2 roof. Most roofs are 3/8 so 1/2 is definitely stronger. Good luck with your decision.
