Had decided NOT to add awning toppers

but one trip under pine trees and wind blowing the limbs down made me rethink...

Have any of you tried these:

I don't have any awnings over our slides but I appreciate your link. If I was to get them, I like these: http://serenitysys.com/eBay/awning/Omega.pdf. I don't even know if they're still available but I like the fact you can retract the awning without retracting the slide. Gives you some options if there are heavy winds that may cause flapping.

The tension on the ones you reference may reduce that problem as well. Hope you get some first hand reviews.
