Hail resistant?

So Sunday night we get golf ball and bigger hail and our new 5er gets the snot beaten out of it. Not a happy camper if you'll pardon the pun.
Anyway I have tried to find without success I might add, vent lids and the dome in the shower made from say lexan or polycarbonate rather than the crap plastic they come with...anyone ever heard of anything like that?
