Has any one had to fish wet ones out of a blocked black water tank?

Just bought a used 5er. Took it out on its maiden voyage. Went to dump the black tank opened the valve nothing! Opened the toilet put in a snake fished out 4 wet ones I'm assuming there's many more. The tank line has two 90 degree bends so I can't attack this from the outside. Has anyone ran into this and is there any good idea of how to get these wet ones out quickly?

Hmmm, reminds me of the TV show...Dirty jobs. How much water is in the black tank? You could try those flexible black tank wands. The spray is somewhat high pressure. Other than that, hope you're enjoying the 5er.

Fished out 15 more! It's a slow horrific job! So far on my maiden voyage fixed a leaking pipe, replaced a broken toilet, all other systems worked. Have to get some air suspension on the rear. The back sags too much looks like the springs are bottomed out. Bucks a bit going down the road. If I raise the back end two inches then I can drop the hitch two inches also. The Diesel engine pulls like a champ! Over all I'm happy as soon as the black water issue gets corrected.

Have you tried back flushing the tank? Learned a while back that if it ain't TP or did'nt came out of me, it don't go in the tank.

What makes this worse is this is left over waste from the previous owners!

You might try one of these:
RV Hydro Flush 45 Degree - Valterra F02-4100 - Sewer Flushing - Camping World
and flush the stuff loose from the other direction.

DW finally confessed that she was putting them down the toilet, twice I had the pile up to the inlet, had to take an old water hose and work it around from the top to get everything washed out, couldn't figure out why in a year and 1/2 of full timing, didn't have a problem and then within a month it happened twice, until the confession. No problems since she quit putting the wipes down the toilet, now she realizes why I had a fit when I saw her flushing them. Tank flush does a good job keeping things clean without the wipes in there.

Lol...my wife was saving water so she was not using very much water to flush
(We were dry camping). I pull the valve to drain a full tank and just a trickle. I think...this is not good. Lucky I was able to add water with a bucket and the clog broke loose and bkack tank flush. Used ice and towed for 10 miles. Filled the tank with fresh water then drained and flushed again. Told wife to use plenty of water when flushing the toliet.

That's where saving warm up shower water or kitchen rinse water in a bucket comes in handy.
And always partial fill the toilet bowl for #2 to prevent skid marks!

Wet wipes should not even be put down toilets on septic tanks....they just do not dissolve...they are not biodegradable
