The propane generators will go through a 40# bottle in pretty short order. So be prepared to refuel often.

thanks to all, I think the search will be a cinch. good point about the gasoline economy. I remember changing out lots of propane tanks on the flight line tow trucks at Coast Guard Mobile kinda a pain.

My 2007 Jayco Designer came with factory installed Onan 5500 Generator. It is Gasoline but has a separate portable 10 gallon tank like what boats use with quick connect. Easy to unhook tank and take to nearest gas station to fill. I carry a extra 5 gal can of gas in bed of truck. I can start the unti from inside of 5th wheel nice if I need gen power on a rainy day.
