Well I must say that these past two weeks have been better than all the cruises we have ever taken

.
We went to Elkhart, IN., to pick up our new Big Country 3250TS fifth wheel we had built from Heartland RV

. While there we took their plant tour and saw how the units were constructed. I saw three of the 3250TS's at different stages, and have an image of where certain lines or wires should be. We stayed at their service lot for about four days getting several small issues tweaked or adjusted to correct.
From there we had several days for the shake down on our way back home to SE Georgia. When we left Indiana, we went to East Tawas, MI., Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina and this evening we will stop in South Carolina, before arriving home in SE Georgia Saturday midday.
I must say that pulling the fifth wheel was very pleasant, no sway like the travel trailer. I even got sandwiched between two tractor/trailers during a downpour going over the mountains in North Carolina, and didn't even feel the "white knuckle affect".
We have met so many friendly folks at all the campgrounds we have stayed. We have also enjoyed all the stories the full timers told of their adventures.
But as you all know, all good things have to come to an end. Time to get back to the real world.
