Help! Electrical problems
I'm new to the 5th wheel world, I just bought my camper last summer. This is the second time I've used it, first time was last summer, I had no problems.
My electrical problem is.. When in hooked up to the 50 amp box at the camp ground everything runs fine, I'm only running 1 a/c, tonight my power just kicked off, went outside to check the camp grounds breaker box, no breakers was thrown, I checked my camper box, no thrown breakers, I had no power anywhere in or outside the camper. I reset the campground breaker box, my ac and wall outlets worked, but no lights and the refrigerator would not turn on. So no 12 volt stuff would work. I Reset both breaker boxes, still no lights and no fridge power. Turned on my battery switch, I now have power to everything. I've replced the power cord, and inverter/charger, and I'm still having the same problem. Checked my battery, it was low, so I put my plug in wall charger on it. It's charging, and It read 11 volts When I first put it on charge. Could my problem be that my battery needs to be replaced, or could the camp grounds electrical be messed up? Or my camper? I've never had this problem before, the problem started when I moved to this new camp ground.

Check the power with a meter at the Campground post and start from there. Check both sides, it could have a leg open.

The box outside my camper lot didn't throw a breaker, neither does my camper, but the campground guy did say that the main breaker for my lot was thrown outside the office. So I'm kind of thinking the camp ground power is messed up and nothing with my camper. But the guy said my power cord was messed up, I got a new 50amp screw in cord $250. And it's still messed up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

There should be a resettable breaker somewhere on your inverter. Sometimes they are just a push to set, pop out when thrown breaker. Sounds like it may be thrown.

Take the battery out and to a battery shop and have it load tested.

It sounds like you experienced two problems at least. The AC kicking off may indeed be the campground power. Only time/troubleshooting will tell.
The 12VDC side of things is another story perhaps. Is there voltage coming out of your converter?

Your converter charges your battery. With shore power on, check battery voltage, it should be 13.6 volts dc or so. If it is 12.5 or less, there is no converter output to battery, and there is an issue with the converter or wiring. AC kicking off could be result of campground power going off.
