HELP: Kitchen sink pressure line broke

What holds these two pieces together?

Look on the white piece, are there two slots?

Typically there are two slots, and a retainer clip slips in after the two pieces are connected.
If not, then look on the floor for a large U shapped clip that might have broken apart. It would slip over both ends of the joined connector so it can't come apart.

Two different connections.. One is well described by dpinvidic

the other is a pair of plastic FINGERS, in this case there is a clip that goes over the white part (the fingers are on the gray part)

I just, and I mean JUST, finished replacing the kitchen faucet on my RV that looks like the sprayer hose on mine and it uses the fingers on the top and red clip on the bottom to release them if you have to.

The supply lines use a metal hairpin clip. as described above.

When I say I just replaced it, I mean this very afternoon.
