I've noticed that the main compartment isn't staying cold anymore. The freezer section feels cold to the touch but my ice cream sandwhiches tell me different. I don't have any fault codes displayed. I switched to propane only mode last night and it was the same way this morning. I verified that the propane did ignite and run. I don't have an ammonia smell either. Can these or do these fridges require servicing periodically? Or, is it getting ready to give up the ghost? Thanks!!

You might look here:
http://www.norcold.com/recalls.cfm
and consider calling Norcold for help (have your serial # handy).
These fridges are generally reliable for about 10 years. But yours could be loosing ammonia via pinhole corrosion somewhere. Two more thoughts: are the door seals all snug (try pulling a dollar bill thru various locations when door is shut). And are your 12vdc batteries up-to-snuff? (it takes a solid 12vdc to operate the Norcold circuit board, whether on 110vac or LP gas).

Thanks, I hadn.t given any thought about the batteries. I'll take them in for a check up. Door seals are good. I can hear suction and see the door compress when it closes
