Help .. Slide cable pulley bracket pulled away
2015 Impact 311 .. main slide won't move. Investigated and found that the cable came off a pulley and ripped the bracket off the wall. How hard is this to fix? Anyone else ever have this happen?

I posted this for a friend and stated that he would find help on this site. It is obvious that either the 40 people who read this didn't understand the question or are unaware that this problem could exist.
How about a little assistance please.

I recall seeing a couple of posts on that type of problem, but it could have been on another forum. Both reported the screws holding the pulley assembly pulled away from the attachment point because they were too short, or something like that, but that's all the info I can provide.

Not too familiar with the cable system, but friend had an Open Range with the cables, and
ALL the brackets for the pulleys were coming loose from to small/short of screws. Factory sent him different screws and seemed to be the fix.

Thanks guys. According to owner, walls are thin and screws were long. I guess a loop or cover, which stops cable from coming off the pulley, came loose and the cable came off pulley and got jammed. This allowed the motor pull on the bracket and bang, of it pulled.

I'm assuming that the cable system is the BAL Accu Slide which seems to be getting more and more prevalent on new RVs. We have 4 on our current unit and of those, three are working just fine with the last one starting to squeal and rattle. There is a pretty good 22 minute video plus the service manual on line. From what I can see, you do need to check a couple adjustments and lube a few areas like the pulleys and chain. On ours, the bar that holds the cables is cocked at about a 45 degree angle which tells me that something has slipped and an adjustment needed as soon as possible (even before its moved out again) as one of the cables can be 'played' like a fiddle it's so tight.
OK - possibly the OPs friends damaged unit may need some further work as the screws are pulled loose. It may need a backer plate to hold the pulley plate in place and will take some ingenuity and an hour or even way more work. Is it difficult? Maybe 'interesting' as some RV manufacturers tend to hide everything as on our last 5er and pieces of valance or trim may need to be removed. Again, not necessarily a difficult job though if a dealer does it, might get very expensive just for their $100 plus per hour labor - that is if he can even find a dealer's service dep't that will even work on cable slide systems.

Your friend may have to put the cover back on the pulley and reattach the bracket to the wall.
