Happy New Year to you all.

Just bought a new Wildcat and GMC 2500HD in the UK. Taking deliver on Saturday.

We are then commencing a two year trip around the UK [moderator edit]'

No doubt we will come across lots of good and bad bits of being on the road for that length of time, hope to share our experiences with you all, and will obviously be asking to share your knowledge and experience too.

Our blog will be up soon and we will let you know that as well.

Best wishes for 2012

Regards
Ian & Dawn

Begin by explaining why you choose an American pickup (lorry) and RV trailer (caravan) for full-timing in the UK. Doesn't the UK (or the EU) produce suitable lorries and caravans?

We decided on an all American rig as the UK 5th wheels were only 7'6" wide, are designed to be towed by smaller Japanese pick ups that we thought would be under powered for the job.

The Wildcat ticked all our boxes, so here's hoping.
