I have a brand new raptor. We have big problems with carbon monixide. Keystone won't return our calls now since it is a year old. Had it in 2 dealers and they can't find what is wrong. Spent alot of time plugging holes and lots of money trying to fix the problem. I can run generator for a little over an hour and start getting headaches. We have not tried the Genturi yet because onan says it voids warranty. This is a fifth wheel and not a motorcoach. After a year of having this problem, I am at a loss of what to do. We only boondock in the BLM land so it's not the rv next to us. Can anyone give us some ideas? Everyone needs to have a digital read with a peak read on their co detector. Your co alarm does not go off at lower levels that can still cause alot of health problems. The generator was installed by Keystone and not aftermarket. You would think that Keystone would care more. Everyone, be safe and get a digital read carbon monixide detector. BLJ

BLJ, If two dealers couldn't find any leaks in the Onan's exhaust system, you may be getting fumes through the slide seals. Our slide seals are in great shape and I can tell you they will allow fumes in from the outside if the wind is right. As far as installing a GenTuri like extension, that would be your call. Probably thousands of Onan owners with them installed though. Good luck. Bob

OMG, that's scary. Did you notice this before your warranty expired? I can't believe that Keystone would blow you off with what could be a very dangerous situation. I hope the Genturi works for you. Good luck, and welcome to the forum!

This has been going on with Keystone since almost day one. They feel since the readings are most of the time under 50ppm it's ok. I have pictures of it reading 70 and have witnesses. They said since I get headaches at 32ppm that I am more prone to the carbon monixide. Our warranty ran out , the end of feb. and now they won't return our calls. The unit came with 2 tv's but I can't run the generator long enough to watch a dvd. We have had our alarm go off several times and that means it is up over 100. We now have 3 digital read with peaks level carbon monixide detector in our rv plus the plain on that comes with it. Everyone needs a digital read in their RV. This is a life and death situation. Thanks for listening. BLJ

Stop using the built in generator. Have you tried using a portable generator and see what happens?

We don't have a portable. We thought since Keystone installed this generator it would be OK. We use to have a truck camper and didn't want to have a portable so it's one of the reasons we purchased this kind of unit. Everythhing enclosed and ready to use. BLJ We may have to go that way. SAD
