hitch cover

Looking to put a tonneau cover on my 2003 Ford supercab 150, to cover back end and hitch. Looking for helpful information about roll ups, tripads, and such. Are there limitations for the fold ups? 6.5 box, styleside. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I put a Backflip on ours. 2010 Ram 3500 DRW 8ft bed. I like that it latches down and bed is secure if I then lock the tailgate. They offer other choices too.

Instead of just a cover, I bought a folding Softopper cap. https://www.softopper.com/ Had it for three + years now and other than a couple of plastic/composite parts breaking (inexpensive to replace), it's been outstanding. Folds down like an old Conestoga wagon & I hold it in place with three bungee cords wrapped around it. Only takes a few minutes to put it up, take it down or even take it off. Doesn't cost all that much either.

hitch cover

I just bought the Tuxedo Truxport from tonneau covers world and am very happy with it. When I was in the campground in Chanute Ks buying our 5er there were 5 trucks from various parts of the US all running the same. I'm very happy with my choice. I had a BakFlip on my F150 and liked it but I have issues now where that model would not work. I carry a Yamaha 3000 gennie that protrudes slightly higher than my bed rails and this cover allows that. Unlike a BakFlip or Roll N Lock I can put a fuel tank in the very front and not lose 6 to 8 inches of the front at the rail level. Good luck.

Edit: I've changed my signature but it didn't take. Now a 2012 HitchHiker

I have an Extang soft cover. It rolls easy or comes off - my choice. I've had that product on two F150s and an F350 with short beds and now a long bed F250. Price is in the $300 range.

I have had the truxport on two different trucks now and really liked it. Looking another route myself for the dually, as I need one that sits very flat to the truck bed due to clearance with the 5er.
