I owned a '96 HitchHiker II 'S' Series, a '00 HitchHiker II triple slide, and now a '02 HitchHiker Discovery. I don't think you'll go wrong with a Nu-Wa product, they hold up real well, have great dealer service with super factory backup.

The construction is quality and they are very dependable and reliable.I've used mine in temperatures in the mid 20's, no experience at zero.

Good luck with whichever rig you select, I'm sure the other brands mentioned will be fine too.

We owned a 32 foot Cardinal for four years with zero problems. We really loved that unit.

We have a 2004 Custom Cedar Creek 32BHBS. We are absolutely thrilled with it and have no complaints!

We have a 33' 2002 Cardinal that we really enjoy. We have had no major problems with it so far and have used it quite a lot. We like it enough that we don't go looking for something better anymore. We feel that we will have this unit for quite a long time.

I'm following your thread closely; sure hope you don't mind. We are shopping for a new 5er also, and there seem to be only 6-7 that fit our requirements and are still within the towing limits of our 1996 Dodge CTD BR2500HD. Most of the ones you mentioned have one or two models, others, just one. Wife requres the double door fridg, and stacked W/D units. My requirements are the towing factors - while keeping her happy! As of today Titanium seems to be leading,HitchhikerII 2nd,Cedar Creek 3rd,HR Alumascape, Alpenlite, etc.

We finally ordered a Hitchhiker II LS 34.5. The factory rep seemed to be more interested in assiting and answering my questions than the rest. Jayco told me that if you full timed in there units the warranty was void.

I'm glad you found "your" RV. We discovered just how stressful and tiresome choosing "our" RV becomes. We also just picked "the one", we bought a Grand Junction 35TMS. Isn't the feeling great! Congratulations again, perhaps we'll meet at one of the annual rallies.
