Has anyone replaced the floor in a slideout on a hitchhiker fifth wheels?I need to know if the floor is attched to the walls from the bottom up or from the top through the walls to the floor. Also where can I find the floor covering that should be put over the plywood to seal it?What kind of materials are needed in doing this job? Contact the service center in Chanute, KS and speak with Darrell. He will gladly provide the information. One of the benefits of owning a HitchHiker.

If your floor is rotten around edges (common issue) it really don't matter. One I replaced was screw wall down. Simply broke off and screw new upward. Rotten it will come right off.
