I would assume that you would need an adapter with a 50 amp female and 15 amp male to plug your trailer into the generator. If you already have a 50 amp to 30 amp adapter, you could just get a 30 to 15 amp adapter.

Any RV place should be able to get you what you need.

Just make sure your water heater is also set on propane.

Edit:

I think if you got this
50 to 30

and this:
30 to 15

you would be good to go.

When you buy your second gen the parrell cord can be home grown for a lot less $ then the mass produced cords.

What you need is a RV adapter to go from 15 amp male plug to a 50 amp female. they are avalable at most RV supply stores.
If you have a 30 amp to a 50 amp then you can buy a 15 amp to 30 amp and just double them up to go from 15 to 30 and then 30 to 50. should be able to find what you need here.

Tom I use a 50 amp pigtail off 5W down to 30 amp the to 15 amp, this way I get away from the 50 amp cord. I use a Prosine 3.0 inverter and found that by setting the charger down to 64 amp I could watch TV use the computer and still run the MW. The 5W came with a 13500 AC, I added a 7100 btu ac in bedroom and can run off the inverter or Honda. See no reason to need a second Honda unless you must run a large AC unit. Charger could be set for less than 64 amp but that works for me with a bank of 6 - T105s. Give it a try before buying another Honda could save $$$$.

Can you describe your home grown setup or/and do you have any pictures?
I'm always looking for ways to save some bucks.

Thanks, LIKENIT

Thanks for the pictures Mike. Looks like something I would want to do and save the $200.00.
