I run two air conditioners, not at the same time but alternating to give one a rest. I make sure I am very close to the power supply, have seen some Camp grounds with out dated electrical systems and the voltage gets very low. Keep your eye on that.

Essentially all the things you need to look out for in a used rig are not much different, hot or cold. Granted, an area that has more intense UV exposure may accelerate some aging of things such as caulking and tires, but these things and roof condition are something you want to watch for no matter what. It may even be possible that a rig that has stayed in Arizona could have a lower probablilty of problems like mold and odors promoted by moisture.

Short of buying a rig that has been stored indoors in a climate controlled environment, you will need to check all environmentally induced aging equally.
