As delivered it was 13' at top of A/C Unit

After raising it via leaf spring shackle adjustment holes so it towed level......13'4" at top of A/C Unit

Traveled FT for 7 yrs....border to border---coast to coast using secondary/back roads all over the USA

Had more height issues in CGs due to lack of tree trimming at sites and narrow roads then ANY place we traveled.

Low over heads/bridges/train trestles were marked with signage PRIOR so alt routing could be used.

LOOK UP
When in Doubt.......go About

I think I'm maybe a few inches over 13'. We had them install a shroud over something- I think the AC- before we purchased. Why they didn't do that in the first place is beyond me, but we did get a hundred bucks credit in their store, so that's where the shroud comes in. And I think that's where the couple of inches comes in. I do know that I have to measure again to be sure before we head out anywhere far away.

Our Alpine is 13’ 4” high. So far we have not had any issues. We have only brushed small branches above roads.

My Cedar Creek at the top of the front A/C unit is 13'-6" measured distance to the ground.
My GPS is programed with this height to make sure I do not wind up on roads that have low over passes.

11'10" to ac. It had to fit in our garage with 12' doors, and it does. Nice to have it inside in Arkansas weather.

12'6"
Last year on our way home from GNP and coming thru ID we pulled into a gas station. It was kinda of a cluster?. I stopped about 15' from the pumps and was looking for the diesel island. Some guy in a small car drives right in front of me and pulls up for gas. I was a little pee'vd but it was ll moot as the pump I needed was on the other side of where he pulled in.
I had to back up about 10' to be able to pull to the right so I could fill on the left at the diesel pump.
Pulled up and after I got the pump going decided to walk around while it was filling.
As I was looking at the overhead of the pump islands I notice it said 11'?". OMGosh.
Had that guy not pulled in front of me and had there been a diesel pump right in front of me I would tore up the stations canopy and my 5ers roof. Ironically on the far right where I pulled up to the outside pump, the canopy ended at the pump.
Phew!!. I always check gas station canopy heights.
Better to be lucky than good some days. LOL.

Our GP is 13.2 feet to top of AC unit.....like others mention, campground managers that don't trim their trees and bushes are a bigger issue.
