How to lift a hitch

Last year I bought a slick hitch lift hook from Demco and I thought I would show how good it works...I forgot to take pictures with it lifted...if you look at the first picture you can see the 1" steel bar in front of the jaws.

I just leave it hooked to 5th wheel king pin.......pull the four pins and lift it up with landing gear then drive out from under it.

Leave hanging from king pin OR if I get rambunctious lower it onto jack table and put it away
Most of the time if not in truck it is hanging from king pin

I'm okay with that too, but I don't have enough room where the trailer is parked to pull out from under it...I used to leave my weight distributing hitch on the trailer - no shin clunks that way!

Really wanted to show off the hitch lift as it is much slicker than all the straps I used to use.

Heh. Good stuff. Great show. Makes me wonder what The Grand Tour will be like, and also how British Top Gear will do with the new presenters. (Can't stand the American Top Gear. Just seems like they were trying to rip off every aspect of the original, even the style of humor. The lack of originality bothered me)
