I've got a spare trailer tire that needs to go on my fifth wheel and I believe the only spot for it is underneath. However, I can't figure out how to attach it. Can anyone help?

If it is like our toy hauler and our two pickups it hangs underneath on a hand crank type winch, you use the jack handle on the pickups not sure on my toy hauler as we just bought it a month ago and there is no spare tire
On most fifth wheels, if it's underneath there is a shaft to a pickup style hanger.
What trailer is it?
It's a 30' 2002 Keystone Montana. I do see now that it is underneath, but now I have to try to put it in there... it's kind of an inconvenient spot and I'm not sure I have the right tools. They don't make it easy, do they?
Ummmm.....just be sure that you have room to open that front compartment door when you're hitched up at the side of the road. We do on our current 5th wheel, but couldn't on a previous one that had a vertical (non-extended) pinbox.
"They don't make it easy, do they?".....It usually can't get much easier....you crank the attachment down to the ground where your spare is sitting, put it through the center hole in the wheel, and crank it back up. Perhaps yours is different ?
