With the expensive sets of lifting blocks, the U-Bolt diameter is increased. With the Lippert Correct Track system, it will increase your hieght 2", but is not a very strong system and can cause more issues with the spring hangers. I do not recommend it.

yes ...thks all for input...twisting force while turning...

So would the LCI Correct Track have same twisting issues then? For my triple axle its @ $300 for a kit vs. $600 for a sub frame welded on...just trying to figure out best / safest route.

An extra $300 for a subframe; I would do that in a heartbeat. Make sure it is cross braced and it should be stronger than original.

Are there options for lowering the truck?

Yep, not even a comparison. $100k of rig rolling down the road, whats $300. Have that subframe welded in and cross braced.

Yes but it is not just a box beam welded to your I-beams. It needs cross bracing too.

For a 3” lift, this company is $170 per axle. Since your’s is a tri-axle multiply that by three. You’ll also need new U bolts. Seems like the cost for welding in a subframe isn’t that much more expensive and is a heck more robust.

Taller leaf springs are also an option, or lower the truck with lowering shackles.

I had a spring Coil Spring Specialties, St Marys, KS make me a special set of rear coil springs 2 1/2" shorter than stock for my 2018 RAM 4x4. Leveled my rig right up.

Yeah suspension blocks are a no no on trailer with multi axle std leaf suspensions. A single axles they work fine as their is no side loading like multi axle trailers.

Not only do U bolts need to be upgraded but also the top plate and much heavier spring keepers.

I've seen the results of suspension blocks some moron added to a 38' GN triaxle equipment trailer. A buddy hauler ran pony for me with this just bought used 36' trailer.
His 2nd trip he calls and says his rig with my load is setting in middle of a busy intersection in Dalhart TX with the front axle turned sideways under the other two axles. We later found 2" suspension blocks were the culprit. TX DOT placed a OOS tag on the trailer for that reason.TX DOT says the trailer shouldn't have passed that year inspection with those blocks.

Anyways John at Dexter in a 1-800 talk says Dexter doesn't recommend blocks nor do they offer them as options. Nor do trailers mfg offer them.

The safest way to raise the trailer is like the pics of steel tube frame lift with cross bracing especially on a tri axle... Not only were the front tires flat spotting but the rear axle was carrying more weight which can/may over load rear axle tires depending on actual axle weights.

Not having done it, but reading dozens of posts about it, blocks > 2" are highly NOT recommended. The Correct Track alignment system will add 2" but may be hard to find as I heard it has been discontinued. The only =sure= way to raise a FW is to put a sub-frame on it. Some people have added longer and much heavier spring hangars, with cross-bracing, but the cost of that is about the same as adding a sub-frame and, IMO, isn't as robust as the sub-frame.

Another thing to check is that a lot of the later model trucks do have spacers in the rear axles and they can be removed to lower the truck.
