Does anyone have any experiences with husky or Curt hitches? I have had some places i've call to check prices say Husky is no good. But I wonder if they are just saying that because they sell a different brand. the dealer we are going to be getting our 5th from sell Husky and Curt and gave us a good price on hitch plus install of $1250.oo We just do not want to get a bad product. any info would be great!

I have a 16k Husky...works fine and I like the locking bar better than the locking jaws. When that bar slams shut, there is not doubt it is locked. If the dealer wants $1250 for the hitch and installation...that is very steep.

I've used a 16k husky slider for two years with no problem. Just towed our Wildcat 31ts 5000 miles (Alabama to Wyoming and back) and have had absolutely no issues.

Have been towing our 5er with a 16K Husky for over 3 years and 10,000 miles and no problems. I like it.

Husky has been around a long time and has a good reputation. We have been using ours for 3 years and no issues.
