So I have a question about this 22 foot Coachmen fifth wheel I got, I have to go up country to pick it up next week, but thought I would ask here about the roof, it is a rubber roof, now I want to know can you walk on the whole roof, or is there spots one should not go?
I would like to be able to look after the A/C and stuff if it needs any cleaning, plus would be nice to know I can get on top to reseal when needed, plus I would like to know if one can scrub the top and what best to use to scrub it, and what product would be safe for it, and I gather you need proper sealer, and not the brush on I have for my current aluminium roof.

And where are the coachmen made, I can not seem to find a dealer local to me in BC.

Any advice on what to do for upkeep on this newer unit?

I use Protect All Rubber Roof Cleaner, then the treatment on my rubber roof. One expensive bottle goes a long way if used properly. The treatment even longer. I spray it on, then use a soft hand cleaning brush to rub it a bit, then wipe it up with lots of warm water in buckets, a small piece at a time.

You should be able to walk on it, if you are average size and weight.

Use Dicor for resealing edges around the roof, and around all roof fixtures, and a good caulking sealant (not ever silicone) on vertical seams or elsewhere.

partsman01, We own a Coachmen T/T and the roof material is rubber, you can purchase a good roof cleaner at Camping World. Yes you should be able to walk on the roof with no damage. Coachmen is manufactured in Middlebury, Indiana. Coachmen recently sold out to Forrest River RV, if you scroll down on the forums page you will see an area for Forrest River, which will include the Coachmen posts. Our other trailer had a rubber roof and the instructions on it said to use Spic.n.Span in a bucket of water and a scrub brush. A few stains won;t bother the roof, but it will chalk and run down the sides. Be sure and keep it well rinsed as you go.
