GVWR 18,000# (Max Total weight rating)
Dry weight 15,614# (Empty trailer total weight)
Hitch weight 3,110# (DRY pin weight based on DRY trailer weight...roughly 20%)
Carrying Capacity 4,334# (amount of Cargo weight that can be add to DRY weight to equal GVWR) ---15,614 + 4,334 = 19,948# which is 1948# OVER GVWR

This unofficial website (non Heartland) shows same figures EXCEPT for Carrying Capacity (Payload Capacity)
It shows 2,334 (2,000# less then Heartland.
15,614 + 2,334 = 17,948 (52# UNDER GVWR)
https://www.rvusa.com/rv-guide/2019-...oncord-tr41620

Makes sense to me........wrong Carrying Capacity (Cargo)
Simple...........

Agree.... That's off the Heartland website. Hope nobody orders one expecting that cargo capacity.

That would be nice. Their full time fifth wheels have no cargo capacity. Common issue for alot of manufacturers that only make dual axle 40 foot fivers.

My son has a less than a year old Heartland 5th wheel in his shop, with sidewall damage. The CCC of that unit is 730#. It drops to 290# with a full water tanks (cold and hot -440#) to 290#

Yeah, unless they're triple axle, most of the big ones have no cargo capacity. I've seen "full time" fivers with 500 pounds.

Brochure weights are not official and are hardly ever correct when compared to the official certifications that are on the trailer when it arrives at the dealer location.

Brochures use the term "dry weight". Just what is dry weight? The correct terminology is GVW. When the trailer leaves the factory the term dry weight = GVW. GVW = ever option installed at the factory plus the weight of everything in the propane system including full tanks even if they are shipped empty. ALL portable water is considered cargo and needs to be calculated by the trailer owner when they include water in their trip planning.

The certification label for the vehicle's GVWR, GAWRs, tire/wheel sizes and recommended tire inflation pressures will be found on the left side forward external section of the trailer. The cargo label will be on a cabinet door inside the trailer. Anything the dealer adds as options over 100# will be deducted from the delivered value.

Official axle GAWRs are determined by deducting the manufacturers' recommended tongue/hitch weight from GVWR and dividing the sum by the number of installed axles. The official value does not have to match the axle manufacturer's GAWR. The vehicle certified GAWRs are the official limits for that vehicle.
