IMO they are a quality unit. We have a Grand Junction, the Infinity is supposedly the next step (top-of-the-line) up in quality. We were allowed to walk through one while we were at the Dutchmen service center in Nov. 2010. They were still in the build stage of that protype so it was not finished, however DW and I were quite impressed with the construction and floorplan. BTW, we bought our Grand Junction in April 05, the only problem we have had was a sidewall crack at the driver-side porthole window near the roof. That was caused by me, I hit a frost heave on the Alaska highway trying to catch-up to our caravan at higher driving speed than was recommended by the wagonmaster.

We have a 2013 3850RL which we love. We did have a problem with the first one we got a year earlier, but the factory replaced it, after Camping World did NOTHING for us. We met a couple at the factory, who were there for a water heater replacement, they were full-timing, and said they also loved their 5er.

Not sure what was wrong with the unit mentioned in the previous response. They got a whole new trailer??? That would worry me some. Plus it has 10" frame so that is iffy if you are a full-timer.

Maybe get more info on the bad trailer.

Also - you do not mention how you are going to use the Infinity. Real long trips, full-time, short weekend trips etc?

My intent was to let you know that the factory backs their units. Camping World, on the other hand, was totally inept. They had our unit for 5 months and did little and then quit answering all our calls and emails. They eventually gave us the number to call at the factory for help. So by the time it was in Indiana we had lost it for almost 8 months. Therefore they gave us a brand new one, of the next years model. They were very accommodating, and we would buy another. The frame hasn't been a problem, it has aluminum framing which is lighter than the ones on the bigger frames. And it has the auto levelers which makes setting up a breeze. We can't wait for spring so we can get out and go some more. I hope this helped you.
