Input on Carriage Cameo

Anyone have anything to say good or bad on the 2008 Carriage Cameo F37R3?
Thanks
Charles

I have an 11 Cameo 36fws and my brother a Max 1.
we have had absolutely no problems with either unit.
there were a few years prior to 11 that had some quality problems which were fixed in the newer units.

Built good coaches when they were still in business. Like all coaches, look hard for water damage. Floor/Wall corners, slide floors inside and out (use and ice pick to find soft spots), check caulking closely. If it hasent been maintained, further inspection is requiured. Check tire manufacture dates not appearence. If older then 5 years from manufacture should be replaced. These are heavy rigs. Get the proper tire load capacity with some weight cushion.

More than likely it has load range E tires....not enough. Plan to upgrade to 17.5" wheels and H rated tires.

Also, in the 2008 era, there are slide out issues with the larger slide units. Have the slide thoroughly checked.

Otherwise, Cameo was a well above average coach.

We are on our 3rd Cameo. I am unable to say anything but good, shame they went out of business, some say because they were the only manufacture that offered full timers full coverage for 2 years. Nobody even now offer a full time user a 2 year warranty.
