Chickie,

We pulled the vinyl out of the kitchen area because it did not cover the entire living room area also. That would have made for a ridge in the new vinyl Allure floor. We laid the Allure over the vinyl in the bathroom/toilet area because it covered the entire area.

Thanks powerboatr. It was a job, but the rewards are worth the effort.

I would love to do replace my carpet in my motor home with one of the vinyl floors but every manufacturer I have checked with, including Allure, do not recommend their product for floors getting below 55 degrees. My motor home is stored when it is zero. MIKE
