We own a 2007 keystone lareado 5th wheel. It has 3 slides. We are thinking about putting pergo flooring in the living area. Our concern is how to install the flooring on our slides. they don't have the sub flooring under the carpet. Just has the metal floor. I was wondering if anyone has experience in changing the flooring with these types of slides? I hope someone can help

I don't have any experience in this. But when we get our camper, I was curious about the same thing. Hopefully someone else will see this now and give us some ideas.

i didnt do pergo, but i did do the allure vinyl planks last march
piece of cake and actually gained a few hundred in payload once all the carpet was out

it sticks to itself, so once its down it in essence becomes one piece and does not get glued to the subfloor.
i think pergo would add alot of weight.

other than that its all gravy

Robert,

Debbie and I are wanting to do the Allure thing also. We are tired of trying to keep this beige carpet clean. Would you please send pictures of your floor job to rvjoe@mac.com ?

Thanks,
Joe

Robert,

You sent me pictures of your flooring, but dang it I can no longer find them. Will you resend please? Also, did you start on one side and work to the other? or did you start in the middle and work out?

We're getting a little frustrated here. rvjoe@mac.com

Thanks,
Joe
