Kinda looks like a very lightweight FW so maybe he's okay. No way to determine for sure. Looks like a lot of leverage on the receiver. Maybe that's why the receiver looks tilted.

It's the ingeniousness of the number of adapters he's got that impresses me !!!

I mean he had to make about 5 trips to the store to make it work... and honestly those adapters added up to a lot of money I'll bet !!!

That owner needs to take that off and just get an andersen hitch. They work on short beds without all the fuss and they are light weight and much safer. That has to be photoshopped i cant believe someone would actually drive down the road with a setup like that. Im all for taking "some" risk but that OMG is just overboard big time..

As far as putting in the rails and drilling holes in the bed, he has to bite the bullet on that one and get rid of that dangerous setup he has.

I agree i cant believe that LE would not stop him on sight.

But then again LE does not always do what we think they should.

end results could kill

Sheriff Curt Folger says a truck hauling a camper was driving eastbound when the camper came loose and went into the westbound lanes, hitting an SUV head-on.
The sheriff says the driver of the SUV was killed at the scene, a 10-month-old baby was airlifted to a hospital in critical condition, and two other people were also injured. Their conditions weren't known late Monday night.
"The westbound vehicle attempted evasive action by moving to the shoulder, but the camper was on top of it quicker than ... well, there wasn't nothing they could do," Sheriff Folger said.
Folger says the two people inside the truck weren't hurt in the crash.
"It appears that it is a very, very tragic accident," Sheriff Folger said.
U.S. 150 was closed nearby several hours while accident reconstruction teams investigated the scene.

No Photoshop! My son took this pic in Arizona between Tucson and Phoenix...It was a rest station off the freeway, so this wasn't a "parking lot maneuver" but someone looking to travel.

Let's see, most 5vers put 1500 to 2000 pounds on the truck. Translation: this guy's hung likely 3+ times his hitch capacity on the back of his truck, not to mention all the issues with sway, leverage, etc. Quoting Monty Python, "run away!!"
