Jacks or Blocks

We will be staying in the same location for 24 months. I was wondering what the pro's and con's of putting the trailer on blocks vs the 6 jacks and the wheels. Also if on blocks should the wheels be left on the ground....thanks

I'm certainly no expert but I think it would be better to block it up. 2 years seems like a long time for the tires and jacks. JMO

Blocks without a doubt! 24 months will warp your tires and may force a leak in your hydraulic jacks. Oh, and I would get tire covers for your tires as well. Finally, believe I would "exercise" your jacks occasionaly just to keep the hydraulic fluid moving.

Agree 100%.

Also, contact the maker of your jacks and ask their advice.

Far as I know it makes no difference.. However I would put blocks under the jacks,, I might put lumber under the tires as well (At least a 1 by 12) just to lift them a bit off the ground.

You might also wish to cut plywood "Toumbstones" and put them against the tires then put wheel covers over the lot to protect from sun as well.

(Plus they make good screens for my holiday scene projector)

Home is where I park it!
