My jayco is only 2 years old 2007 . My first 5th wheel i am finding out that my jayco warrenty is not any good .It has 7 year warrinty 2 form jayco 5 from GMAC .I bought 7 form jayco frist them change .My microwave broke and the gave me a smaler one.Underneight my bed room slide is startingto delaminate on out side of the fifth wheel Does anybody got any advice about talking to jayco.

Jayco generally has a good name as for treating customers right. Best bet is to contact your selling or local dealer and let them contact Jayco. Otherwise you can call Jayco and talk to a customer service person.

The first question from Jayco/dealer will be asking about roof maintenance. Part of the responsibility of ownership is for you to inspect and maintain the roof and roof seams. This should normally be inspected every 6 months.

You’ll find a great bunch of folks on this site who are very knowledgeable of RVing, the rigs we use, and the places we go in them.

You might want to contact Jayco using their 'Contact Us' form to get the ball started rolling on resolving the delamination.

I've owned three Jaycos, a pop-up and 2 Designer 5th wheels. I've always found that Jayco was quite concerned about standing behind their products and ensuring that their customers were satisfied. I've even had Jayco schedule service at a non-Jayco facility when our selling dealer told us that they couldn't replace a defective Norcold cooling unit for 2 months.

I believe the key is establishing constructive communication with the right individual at Jayco. The "contact us" form referenced above is a good way to start.

Hi my name is Angel and I am new to the forum. Also new to the rv thing. I am in the process of buying a 2005 Jayco class c 30ss and the rv has some damage which I need to find out if it is still worth purchasing or a pure headache which is that the passenger side rear of the rv where the ladder is at is seperating from the passenger side corner of the rv. Starting from the bottom and working its way up. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.

don't buy it - de-lamination spreads and is very expensive to repair. water leaks cause the separation, so prior maintenance would be questioned

Angel, MHO would be to stay from it, could cost a small fortune to get it repaired. The are many RV's for sale out there, look around.

There are a lot of bargins out there so there is no need to buy a problem. With the end of the season at hand you can afford to look around. The prices will just get better. All RV's require maintainence so a major problem isn't required to become one with your RV.
Look around and enjoy the shopping.
