Jensen DVD Player

Our 5th wheel has a Jensen DVD player which has caused us a lot of frustration. When playing a DVD, it will sometimes stick/freeze and using the fast forward or reverse features does not work. I've had to eject the DVD, reinserted and fast forward it past the point where it stopped. I then play the DVD. I initially thought it was the disk so I inserted it into the DVD player in my home and it played without a hitch. Has anyone had similar problems with the Jensen DVD player and were you able to fix this problem? I have been told Jensen's video equipment is at the bottom of the list and should think about replacing it. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I have a Jensen DVD system and it was billed as a surround sound but it is not, it is a stereo and not a very good one. I replaced my system with a Blue Ray player and a theater surround sound. I put the components on a shelf in a cabinet. I left the Jensen installed as I was not able to find anything that would fit the hole that the Jensen is in.

We've had the same problem with the Jensen DVD player in our 5th wheel. Last time out boondocking there really wasn't much I could do to fix it so I just cleaned the disk with clean water, that seemed to fix it. It would start doing it again with another disk so did cleaned with water again, fixed it again. I know Jensen isn't the top of the line but it does seem to be really picky about dirty disk.
