Key Question

If I have misplaced the keys to my 5th wheel is it possible for the dealer I purchased it from to make me a key based on the VIN #?

I have done this before when I locked keys in my truck and am hoping I will get lucky again!

Jeff... a town lock smith can do that ... they will guage the tumbler and cut the key on their machine. If you call the manufacturer and get the BLANK type or Blank # it will make the lock smith job so much easier. There are many "REPLACE RV KEY" videos on YOUTUBE. It will place a smile on your face as to home many of us lose our keys.

If you think you locked your keys in your rig, a local dealer may have a master key to get you in. Otherwise, as Craig suggested, call a locksmith.

I may be wrong, but I think the RV dealers have master keys for the RVs they sell. Maybe get a couple from them?

Only the deadbolt key is unique to your 5th wheel. Your dealer should have all the other keys in stock. There is no master key for the deadbolt. The manufacturer can supply the deadbolt key.
