Hi folks, new to the forum and a new fifth wheel. If anyone has one of these, any info would be appreciated.

I don't have one but what is it looking to learn? What year do you have? Are you looking for anything specific? If your just looking for reviews, seems the time to do it would have been before buying it,

We bought a 2019 in June and love it. We added a second AC unit in the bedroom and couldn't be happier.

I bought a 2018 that was made before the switch to 2019 that started late March 2018. I did check the reviews before buying and did not find any bad reviews. I was only inquiring to see if that has changed or if anyone had any tips about that model. Thanks for your response.

Hi I’m a Newbie 5th wheeler. Downsized from a 39ft Diesel Pusher. We just bought a Laredo 325rl today.
Is a Ford 250 gasser enough truck to pull this rig. I feel like a true newbie even after 9 years of doing it. Thanks for any advice.

I looked at the specs of the trailer and with a GVWR of 13K you will have a pin weight of 2600#+. Add the weight of your selected hitch, extra tools, passengers and compare that to the weight listed on the "tire loading information" sticker on the driver's door jamb and you will have your answer.

Thanks so much for that info. I’m actually going to look at a Ram 2500 turbo diesel today. I will check that out. You’ve been very helpful.

Paul, the Ram 2500 CTD has less payload capacity than the 6.4 gasser due to the weight of the diesel engine and you will be over your payload capacity.

I would recommend a Ram 3500 SRW CTD, they are not that much more expensive than the 2500 and you will have plenty of payload and tow capacity which will give you a piece of mind and allow you to upgrade to a bigger/heavier 5th wheel in the future without having to go buy a new truck.

Good advice. Never looked at the gasser but Ram has more than Ford or GM in the towing arena. My F-250 Lariat diesel crew cab, short bed 4WD had a puny 2074# capacity. The Ram Laramie in the sig line 4207#.

2018 Laredo 325RL

I have a 2018 Laredo 325RL also. I'm pulling it with a 2015 Silverado 2500HD with a Pullrite 4400 hitch. I have attached a Weight sheet from the scale with two people in the truck and the camper loaded with our stuff but no full water tank. My pin weight is definitely not 2600#.

I had a RAM 2500 diesel in the shop for service a couple of weeks ago and glanced at the CCC. Long bed , crew cab , Laramie , 4wd. CCC 1783lbs. I think it was. 2015 or16.

Get a 3500 , the price difference is not much . Just heavier spring in rear.
