King Beds in 5th wheel

We are thinking of moving from Motor home to 5th wheel. Is there a 5th that has a king bed that can be pulled with a 1/2 ton pick up? I just bought a new Ram 1500 4x4 and really don't want to deal it already.

Thank.

Not sure why you bought a 1/2 ton truck and now want the 5th wheel with a king bed...but here goes.

Most 1/2 ton towable 5th wheels will not have a bedroom slide and are very unlikely have a king bed.

I would advise keeping the MH and keeping the Ram 1500.

There are lots of bigger 5th wheels that have king beds but you would need a much bigger truck and probably a dually.

Good luck

As noted above your 1/2 ton truck will not tow a 5er of any size, much less one with a king bed and a slide. Practically, you might be able to tow a mid-height 5er in the 24' range and no more.

I bought a half ton because I liked it and no intention of buying a 5th wheel. We like the mh but we are thinking we dont use it enough to have all the money sitting out in the shop. We want a king size bed and we thought we would look at 5th wheels.
I just thought I would throw it out there and see if anyone knew what was out there.

Thanks for the info. We will keep the mh and the Ram.

There are RV King Sized beds and there are King Sized beds. I ended up with a King Sized bed in my Cyclone 4100. It uses standard king size sheets, mattress toppers, and blankets. It comes at a premium at nearly 21K when fully loaded. 1/2 tons need not apply.
