RV King Pin is 2" Diameter......some semis use 2" some use 3 1/2" King Pins

RV Umbilical Cord/Plugs are 7 pin sloted......Commercial typically 7 pin Round

RV electric brakes are part of the umbilical cord....Commecial can have separate electric cord/plugs and air/hydraulic connections for trailer brakes

You really should put a regular RV hitch on with full articulation.

I believe that they are the same size but I would only use the commercial hitch in an emergency to move my 5er. You will pound the 5er to a early death. I saw exactly this at our HDT national rally in Hutchinson Kansas last year. Someone was using a commercial hitch to tow his DRV. A welding place had to come and patch it together to be able to tow it to their yard for a complete rebuild of the front end.

A 5er has no where near enough weight to make use of the truck suspension and every bump is a direct jolt into the 5er. Get a good rv hitch with air bags. You will not be sorry.

As others have said, yes, the pin size is the same typically. Unfortunately, everything else is different. That's where the problems come in. A commercial semi tractor is the wrong thing to tow a 5th wheel camper. You need the right hitch and connections and a truck that won't tear apart your trailer. Despite popular belief, you actually can have too much truck.
