I looked at a 2001 sportsmen fifth wheel made by kz yesterday. It's a 2457 model with two slides, rear living, front bath and bedroom. They had bought it new, used it five times and it's always been stored in a clean pole barn. To tell you the truth it looks almost brand new inside and out. they're asking $13800. Does this price sounds right? Are you folks who have a sportsmen pleased with the product?
I'm also looking at a 2000 dutchmen 30' double slide. It was a theft recovery so it has a rebuild title. The furniture and radio stuff was stolen. It has all been replaced and looks real nice. He's wanting $10500.

I've got nothing but good to say about KZ. Bought my TT new last year and haven't had any problems. KZ is known for these customer service and quality....we haven't been disappointed.
KZ over Dutchman. No question on this comparison. The salvage title will reduce the value on the Dutchman by at least 20%. Regardless of the reason, it is a salvage title.
We've got a Sportsmen 2852, two slides, have had it for two years and it's been a good outfit for us.
Had one minor warranty problem when new, a leaky window and it was quickly repaired.
I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
