Landing jacks

I'm replacing my landing jacks on my 2009 Cardinal 30TS. The current stock system is just one electric motor and is not man enough to raise the 3,000 lb pin weight. I'm putting in the twin motor bigfoot system. Seems to be a good product. Any comments?

I had to raise my FW 5in to make level with Ram 1ton. So raising the FW up the extra height seems to put that mush more work on the jacks and they crap out. Two motor system should do the trick.

Can't go wrong with Bigfoot.

Think about tilting each jack at 1/4" / ft. In at the top out at the bottom. Don't do more or it risks twisting the frame and is hard on the seals.

I moved the front jacks to the outside of the frame rails to provided a wider stance.

Having the bracket connected from the top to the bottom of the frame rails makes for a more rigid connection and will help to stabilize the trailer.

Friend has Bigfoot jacks, control panel went bad. Was told by manufacturer that they are no longer available. It's only 14 yrs old. Had to spend $1000 to upgrade to a better Bigfoot system. The old system was known to have this problem, but Bigfoot didn't offer any help or incentive to help with the repair.

We had problem with the old style panel. Cost $400 for a new panel and the wireless....later on I installed an On/OFF switch to turn the system off while towing.
