Landing legs

E just bought a montana2008.now the landing legs on the front won't work. Motor runs fine. Legs flop up and down ...... Help please

It is electric. And I'm hoping on fixing it myself. I have two car jacks and some concrete blocks holding it up now.
Someone told me it may be the shear pins but not now to fix them. I am medical smart and 5er dumb!

The legs are a simple mechanical device. Look first to see what is wrong.

The motor works but the legs dont go up or down. I can move them up and down with my hand but they won't stay locked into place that is why I thought it might be the shear pin(found that word in the manual) . However,I don't know how to take it apart to find the place the pin goes or the broken one. Thanks for your help.

Post a digital picture of the landing gear below the bottom of the trailer so we can see if you lock pins are in place.

53 years towing experience. Largest load ever hauled on a public highway was 300,000lbs 30ft wide 70ft long and 22ft high max speed 15mph.
